How to Write Professional Emails
- Put a CLEAR subject line that explains the contents of your email
2. Start the email “Dear Mr/Ms Surname”.
You can use your their first name if you are replying to an email where they signed off using their first name.
3. Use full words and sentences with proper punctuation
4. Remember to thank the person you are emailing. Even if it is “Thank you in advance”
5. Don’t use emojis!
6. Use an appropriate sign-off (“Best wishes”, “Many Thanks” etc)
